I've been swatting up on housebreaking and have come across crating puppies to housetrain them. Has anyone used this technique - pros/cons or is using puppy bed and cleaning up accidents best for pup? Also what size should the crate be - I've bought one but I think it's too small personally - he can only just turn around in it - I'd be grateful for your views on this.

We have 2 8wk old puppies. They do "ok" with potty training but of course have accidents. Just wondering what has worked the best for others.

I have a Pomeranian who is a year old. She is potty trained but it took nine months to train her and sometimes (very rare though) she still has accidents when someone isn't looking. I am considering getting another puppy (not sure of what breed yet) but I was wondering what the easiest method is to potty train a puppy? My dog now scratches at the door when she has to go. I know Poms are harder to potty train b/c they're smaller dogs, but I'm just curious to know what the easiest method is? Thx!
